Sophie Gluck was born and raised in Paris, France, where she graduated from the Sorbonne with a degree in American and English literature. She came to New York to study at New York University, where she received a Masters Degree in Cinema Studies.
Since starting Sophie Gluck & Associates, Sophie has worked on over 300 theatrical release campaigns of films from Europe, Latin America, Asia, the Middle-East and the US.
Prior to 2000, Ms. Gluck was a partner in the film publicity agency Wang and Gluck together with co-partner Norman Wang, where for 10 years they represented many award-winning films from all over the world, including Wong Kar Wai's Chungking Express and Happy Together, Chen Kaige's Farewell, My Concubine, Zhang Yimou's Ju Dou, Raise the Red Lantern, To Live, Shanghai Triad, The Story of Qiu Jiu, Ang Lee's The Wedding Banquet and Eat, Drink, Man, Woman, Abbas Kiarostami's The Taste of Cherry, Through the Olive Strees, and The Wind Will Carry Us, Edward Yang's Yiyi, and many others.
Sophie started her career working for renowned film publicist Renee Furst.
She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (Public Relations branch) and lives in New York City.
Aimee Morris grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio and moved to New York to study journalism at NYU, from which she graduated with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. She started her publicity career in the music industry specializing in hip hop music at Set To Run Public Relations and went on to work at record labels including Geffen, Virgin and V2/Gee Street before striking out on her own. Some of the artists she worked with include The Roots, Genius of the Wu-Tang Clan, Gang Starr, Murs, Prince Paul, Fat Joe and more. After working in the music industry for over a decade, she decided to focus on film publicity and was part of the Tribeca Film Festival publicity team for sections including Spotlight, Encounters, Discovery and Galas.
In 2006, Aimee joined the awards publicity team of 42West working under Cynthia Swartz and Frank Lomento on campaigns for No Country For Old Men, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Gone Baby Gone, There Will Be Blood, Doubt, Valentino: The Last Emperor, Wendy and Lucy, Che and The Hurt Locker. She joined Sophie Gluck & Associates in 2009, where she has worked on the publicity campaigns of many acclaimed releases including Son of Saul, Amour, A Separation, Girlhood, Breathe, Farewell My Queen, Leviathan, The Club, Timbuktu, The Deep Blue Sea, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, In The House, Mysteries of Lisbon, Mood Indigo and more.
