Sophie Gluck & Associates is a New York-based film publicity boutique agency specializing in campaigns of foreign, independent and documentary films, by acclaimed directors, as well as emerging filmmakers with a unique vision. Covering all media - print, on line and broadcast - the agency is responsible for New York and national theatrical campaigns on behalf of distributors, and represents films at festivals including Toronto, Cannes, Berlin, Telluride and Tribeca.
The agency was founded in 2000 by Sophie Gluck, a native of Paris, France, and a graduate of New York University’s Cinema Studies Master’s program, as well as the Sorbonne. Since its creation, Sophie Gluck & Associates has worked on over 300 campaigns of films from Europe, Latin America, Asia, the Middle-East and the US. Prior to 2000, Ms. Gluck was a partner in the film publicity agency Wang and Gluck, together with co-partner Norman Wang. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
Clients include Sony Pictures Classics, Music Box Films, Cohen Media Group, Focus Features, Bleecker Street, Kino International, The Orchard, Strand Releasing, Rialto Pictures, Drafthouse Films, Sundance Selects, Samuel Goldwyn Films, Adopt Films, Participant Media, Pathé International, and Wild Bunch. From 2006 to 2014, Sophie Gluck was the US representative of the European Film Awards.
